Liposuction: We often succeed in fighting against overweight. But mostly some region stay as they are. In this case the fat has to be removed chemically or mechanically. The mechanic procedure is called liposuction. The surgeon injects a mixture of liquids, which contains local anesthesia and anti-inflammatory substances. Therefore no general anesthesia is needed. This liquid is extracted by very thin canulas and a pump. To treat a region, e.g. the stomach, last about two hours all in all. After the surgery patients don’t have any downtime. They have to wear a corsage for two weeks. The ideal region for this procedure is the outer part of the thigh, but also the stomach, the hips, the inner part of the thigh and the knees work very well too.
Thigh lifting: The atony of the skin, especially after having lost weight can lead to excessive structures at the inner part of the thighs. In this case the liposuction has to be combined with a surgical lift. The cut is set into the fold beneath the buttocks and the excessive skin is removed.
Abdominal lift: After pregnancy or weight loos an excessive abdominal skin sometimes can be seen. There has an operation to be done and there is no limit of age. But it is important to have reached a constant weight and no more pregnancy is to be expected. The surgeon sets the cut in a line, which is covered by the pants and the navel is put back in the right position. Actually the abdominal lift is very often combined with liposuction. If the patients have run through this procedure in former days and have got a little fat deposit beyond the scar, these bumps can be removed by lipolysis very easily.
Scars: After having had surgery or after accidents there are often scars remaining. These scars can have different appearances. Some are pigmented, some are red, the others are caved in or dehiscent. Different appearances need different treatments. Pigments need to be treated by ruby laser, redness by KTP laser, if they are dehiscent, we have to correct them by surgery and if they are caved in, a filler has to be injected to augmentate the scar.
