If there a no varicous veins in the depth of the skin, but only the spider veins on the surface, we ofter use the laser to remove those bothering spots.
The laser developes heat to the epidermis, so it has to be combined with a constant cooling system. This cooling protects the surface of the skin and garantees the effeciency of the laser treatment on the spider veins. Actually we are able to increase the power of the laser under cooling so we become more effective. Anyway, spider veins are often a sign for deeper problems, therefore we recommend the examination even it does not look very serious.
There is no need of band aid od bandage after the laser therapy.
