Treatment of wrinkles with Dysport (Botox): As a part of our human nature, we automatically focus on using always the same mimic muscles. Within the years this will lead to wrinkles. They start to appear as fine lines e.g. at the Glabella or as so called “Craw feet”. Since about 15 years we have a wonderful weapon against these mimic wrinkles. Botulinum Toxin is a medicament, well known in medicin since decades for the treatment of several diseases. We have two brand names, Dysport or Botox, both contain the same substance. The injections are done with a very thin needle, so there is no pain. No skin irritation can be seen after the therapy, so our patients are able to continue their business immediately. After 4-6 days the effect is on it’s climax and most of the wrinkles are disappeared.
Another displeasing problem, which can be treated with Dysport very properly, is the excessive sweating in armpits and palms. One single treatment usually helps for 9 months in average. As some drops of Dysport are injected with a very thin needle, the sweating will be dramatically reduced or even completely stopped.
Treatment with Stylage: Stylage is a modern cross-linked kind of hyaluronic acid. This hyaluronic acid is decreasing in aging skin, mostly because of the decline of hormones. When we inject hyaluronic acid, we do not only remove wrinkles, but we also apply a healthy substance to our skin. As Stylage is a very natural material, we are allowed to inject very superficially. Therefore it is perfect in therapy of fine lines, e.g. on the upper lip, nasolabial, round the eyes. Even the dark shadow below the eyes can be treated properly with Stylage. In average the result of the treatment with Stylage lasts for 6-12 months.
